AICHACH - ASBESTOS

In Aichach, Build Smart was contracted to execute a complete and certified asbestos remediation as part of the preparation for a residential building renovation.

During an initial inspection, legacy construction materials – particularly pipe insulation and wall panels – were found to contain asbestos and mineral fibers. These materials posed serious health risks and required specialized, legally compliant handling before any further interior work could begin.

Our trained demolition and remediation team implemented a step-by-step decontamination strategy that included:

• Sealing and isolating affected zones in accordance with TRGS 519

• Careful manual dismantling of all hazardous materials

• Use of HEPA-filtered negative pressure units to ensure particle containment

• Double-bagging and documented disposal through licensed waste carriers

• Final clearance measurement and approval by a certified hygienist

Throughout the project, safety was the top priority – for both our team and the surrounding environment. All work was carried out in full compliance with German environmental and occupational health regulations.
